Ellen Phinney has professional experience
working in the event
industry since 2001. While she was in high school she interned at the City
of Boulder’s Municipal Channel 8.
Shortly thereafter, she was hired on as an employee of Channel 8
while attending the University of Colorado at Boulder.
She was so inspired working at Channel 8 that she decided to
pursue a production degree. She
accepted a Presidential Academic Scholarship to
attend the University of Southern California’s prestigious School of
Cinema-Television Production. Ellen
graduated with a production degree and has been producing in the
live event sector ever since.
After graduating, Ellen began planning workshops, seminars, and
conferences within the self-help industry.
She then went on to sporting events and eventually continued onto
larger trade shows, exhibits, and press events within the automotive and
technology sectors.
Ellen became an Independent Event Producer in 2007. She now services multiple industry
sectors including automotive, video game, sports, educational, and
special event industries.
Today, Ellen produces in a variety of event
formats including trade shows, exhibits, business meetings, breakout
sessions, conferences, commercials, mobile tours, press events,
receptions, seminars, workshops, sporting events, and sneak previews.
